About the Role
The Finance Operations & Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining regulatory compliance while driving automation and process improvements across finance systems. This role supports the organisation's financial operations by maintaining robust internal controls, optimising financial workflows, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The analyst collaborates with Accounting, FP&A, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and scalability of financial processes, support audit activities, and implement best practices in financial systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies
Identify, document, and implement opportunities to automate manual finance processes and workflows
Support month-end and year-end close activities including account reconciliations and journal entries
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
Experience with ERP or financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Workday
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
